Thursday’s session begins with Selections from The Daniel & Joanna S. Rose Collection (lots 1-152). Hart Davis Hart is honored to represent this spectacular cellar, assembled over decades of meticulous collecting, with a true devotion to quality and passion for wine. All bottles were kept under ideal conditions at the consignor’s East Hampton estate, the site of many a celebration that always included wine shared among friends. A catalog spanning decades of receipts from Sherry-Lehmann – among other major retailers, demonstrates the commitment to building, sharing, and enjoying an important collection.
On Friday we are excited to offer A Doctor’s Treasured Collection (lots 1242-1623). This is a broad and well cared for collection, one that we have been thrilled to bring to market before, which represents many years of dedicated sourcing, storing, and enjoyment of the great wines of Bordeaux, Burgundy and California. The Doctor is a collector of discerning taste and care, and the wines in this offering were all purchased upon release and kept at a constant 48 degrees.
Friday’s excitement continues with The Audrey Collection (lots 1626-1651). This is an exceptional and comprehensive look at the wines of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, assembled over many years by a collector with established wine knowledge and decades of experience tasting in Burgundy. To say that this consignor is passionate about Burgundian wines would be an understatement, and the cellar from which these lots were removed certainly exhibits that zeal. We’re thrilled to offer bidders the opportunity to take home a portion of DRC history.
