Robert Sleigh joined the Hart Davis Hart team as Managing Director, International in 2026. He has spent over 30 years in the wine and auction industries in London, New York, Burgundy and Hong Kong with a focus on auction, but also touching on retail and production. Robert spent over 20 years with Sotheby’s where he was head of the wine department in New York and then Hong Kong. He also spent several years in senior regional management roles with Sotheby’s and Phillips auctioneers in Asia.
Robert is primarily Hong Kong based (which is advantageous as Asia’s wine hub) and he travels widely through the Asian wealth centers as well as Europe and the US. His role focuses on working closely with Paul Hart and Ben Nelson as part of the senior leadership team and engaging with HDH’s top international clients.
